I can’t believe it’s been a week since Stephen’s surgery. To me, the time has flown by, I’m sure that’s because I had the chance to spend some much needed time with my second born.
These last two days have been quite a blur. On Monday, Stephen’s knee was still in a lot of pain but he was more focused on the pain he was feeling in his stomach.
As you probably know by now, I’ve been in Alabama since Friday visiting my son who recently had knee surgery. Today was a better day than yesterday. Stephen slept better last night but still was restless and woke up fully every four hours throughout the night to take his pain medication.
I’m sitting in my hotel room in Tuscaloosa, Alabama watching my son, Stephen finally nod off to sleep. Yesterday, he had MPFL Reconstruction surgery on his knee and for the last 24 hours, we’ve been trying to manage his pain and find ways for him to be comfortable.
My 11 year old daughter has had a dream of dancing with the Houston Ballet since she saw her first Nutcracker performance on stage. This past Saturday, she realized her dream at her Houston Ballet audition for their summer intensive program.
