What to do with all those wine corks…
Author: JoanieSun, Mar 4, 2012
We recently renovated one of our upstairs bathrooms. We took down the existing mirror, which was a typical rectangular mirror found in so many houses and put it aside. Now, if you’ve been reading some of our other posts, you know that we love good wines and we really love visiting wineries all over the country. We’ve collected the wine corks as remembrances of a good bottle of wine. I decided to take the mirror and simply hot glue the corks around the mirror. It dresses up an otherwise dull mirror and serves as a great memory when looking at all the corks of all the great wines we’ve tasted and the unique wineries we’ve visited.

Welcome to ZagLeft!

Love to see the results of your creative side! This is such an inspiring project…great job! I have an outdoor living project in mind that I will share with you once I’ve completed with it. Refurbishing ROCKS!
I’d love to see what you’ve done. You’re right, it’s so much fun to refurbish or repurpose things. I think I’m on a roll. EJ says to bolt it down unless you want it painted when I’m around
