On October 1, 1982 Disney's second theme park opened it's gates to the public. EPCOT, an acronym for Experimental Prototype Community of Tomorrow is twice the size of the Magic Kingdom. It also happens to be my favorite park of all.
When we decided to come to Walt Disney World for our anniversary trip we knew that we wanted to spend time together and not focus on "doing" the parks. We have taken many trips with our family and have thoroughly enjoyed each visit, being there from the rope drop to being some of the last people to leave the park. This time we booked a couple of restaurants in advanced to make sure we get in, but other than that we did not have a real plan.
It is now a tradition with us to stop into La Cava Del Tequila at least one time during a visit to Disney World to enjoy a great margarita and get an order of chips with Guacamole (always fresh with large chunks of Avocado).
The addition of Via Napoli in 2010 brought the great energy of the typical Italian casual dining experience I have had in Italy. Now with the wine bar with great food of Tutto Gusto, Walt Disney World has offers the full Italian wine and food experience.

We’re not only excited to visit our favorite vacation destination, but we’ll be visiting our daughter who is participating in the Walt Disney World College Program. My almost nightly phone calls with her have [...]
... this trip we took things at a slower pace. EPCOT World Showcase is a great place for couples with a relaxed atmosphere, great sights and so many food and drink options that make it easy to enjoy time alone.
I think the Disney College Program is a great opportunity for college students. I've seen how the time my son spent in the program has helped shape his character and guide him further on his career path
Starting off at the Boardwalk Resort we walked over to the French Pavilion which is a favorite of ours with the great food and wine selection. We picked up a Turkey and Brie baguette at the Boulangerie Patisserie shop and then walked across the alley to La Maison du Vin and picked up two glasses of Sauvion Vouvray 2010 wine (great white wine from the Loire Valley in France).
